Stride, in partnership with Wellways and Clarity Health Care, will soon be opening the Western NSW Medicare Mental Health Centre, featuring locations in Dubbo and Bathurst.
The centre is an integral part of Australia's reformed mental health and wellbeing system.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality evidence-based clinical care to achieve better health outcomes for adults aged 18 years and over who experience mental health concerns and their families and carers.
* Conduct intake and assessments, including risk assessments, care treatment planning, care coordination with internal and external services, and provide brief psychological intervention.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you must have one of the following:
* Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, OR AASW registration/eligibility as a Social Worker (graduate Social Worker looking to build skills in the mental health field).
* Knowledge and understanding of the theory underpinning evidence-based interventions and clinical practice, and demonstrated excellence in practical application in mental health and alcohol and drug use.
* Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to engage with people, advocate on their behalf, and establish effective relationships with staff, clients, families, friends, and stakeholders.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time or part-time, permanent opportunity that offers:
