Position: Clinical Operations Manager – Residential Aged Care
Location: Sydney - Redfern | Permanent, Full-Time
Role Overview: Be the change that shapes quality care across our aged care centres. We are seeking a dynamic clinical leader with a passion for mentoring and uplifting others. Join The Salvation Army Aged Care in this impactful role where you will drive excellence in clinical care across our Residential Services.
As a Registered Nurse with a strong background in aged care leadership, you will guide our Care Managers and clinical teams, embed best practices, and help us deliver high standards of care daily.

Our aged care services support older Australians with a compassionate approach. As Clinical Operations Manager, you will ensure our care remains safe, high-quality, and compliant with industry reforms and resident needs. You will report to and be supported by our General Manager for Residential Aged Care, working together to uplift clinical capability and embed best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee clinical systems and processes across aged care centres.
2. Provide expert advice on complex clinical issues.
3. Mentor and support Care Managers, Care Coordinators, and clinical staff.
4. Partner with Regional Operations Managers to improve clinical performance.
5. Establish a Community of Practice for RNs and ENs and implement mentoring programs.
6. Collaborate with Quality & Compliance, Learning, and Capability teams for clinical education and improvement.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
2. Significant clinical leadership experience in aged care or similar healthcare setting.
3. Proven ability to lead clinical improvement initiatives and develop workforce capability.
4. Experience mentoring and coaching nursing and care staff.
5. Knowledge of clinical compliance and regulatory frameworks.
6. Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
8. High integrity and commitment to person-centred care.
9. Willingness to travel to residential sites; valid driver’s license required.
