Description Fixed Term part time appointment (28 hours per week 0.8 FTE, to 19 October 2028) Level B: $122,478 - $141,446 (pro-rata) 17% Superannuation The Faculty of Science, Medicine and Health (SMAH) comprises of the Schools of Medical, Indigenous and Health Sciences; Science; Nursing; Psychology; and the Graduate School of Medicine. With such a diverse science and health focus, SMAH is positioned to be a major force in connected and science-embedded education and translational science, medical and health research in Australia. The School of Medical, Indigenous and Health Sciences (MIHS) includes disciplines of Medical Sciences; Nutrition Science and Dietetics; Indigenous Health; Public Health; Occupational Health & Safety; and Exercise, Sport and Rehabilitation Sciences. The School currently offers externally accredited programs in Dietetics, Clinical Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Occupational Health and Safety, and Occupational Hygiene, as well as non-accredited programs in Medical and Health Sciences, Pre-Medicine, Nutrition Sciences and Public Health. The School also offers a Graduate Certificate in Indigenous Trauma and Recovery Practice, and a Master of Indigenous Health. About the Role We are seeking a Lecturer in Dietetics to join the School of Medical, Indigenous and Health Sciences (MIHS). In this role you will deliver high-quality teaching with a strong focus on Clinical Dietetics, including food service, clinical practice, and related areas. You’ll supervise research students, support accreditation and program governance, contribute to clinical placements, and have opportunities to develop your own research program in nutrition and dietetics. About You You bring strong expertise in clinical and/or food service dietetics, excellence in tertiary teaching, and eligibility for membership of Dietitians Australia as an Accredited Practicing Dietitian. You have a PhD in dietetics or related field and a developing research profile, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to culturally safe and inclusive practice.
