Emergency Veterinary Specialist Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced veterinary specialist to lead a team delivering advanced medical care for referred patients locally and statewide. As a key member, you will make a real difference in the lives of animals and their owners.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead a team to deliver high-quality care to clients from diverse locations
* Collaborate with other disciplines to create a positive learning environment for students and staff
* Develop strong relationships with referring veterinarians to foster trust and cooperation
* Mentor, oversee, and support the development of veterinary interns and residents
* Drive continuous improvement within the emergency and critical care service
* Share and expand expertise through in-house continuing education and clinician rounds
* Engage in student case management, rounds, tutorials, and assessments
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* DACVECC, DECVECC, or FANZCVS qualification is mandatory
* Veterinary degree eligible for registration in Australia is required
