Essential DutiesIncludes the following responsibilities; other duties may be assigned:Compare serial numbers of incoming cars against invoices.Inspect vehicles for damages and verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice.Record damages and missing items on the delivery receipt.Park new vehicles in designated areas.Catalog and store keys.Assign stock control numbers to vehicles.Move sold vehicles to optimize space and maintain lot order.Deliver sold vehicles to the preparation department.Service vehicles in storage to prevent deterioration of tires, batteries, and finishes.Maintain vehicle appearance and performance through cleaning, fluid replenishment, and battery replacement.Place buyer guides and stock tags on vehicles.Keep lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed.Clean driveways and sidewalks, removing snow and debris as needed.Drive vehicles to and from service areas and parking lots.Create key tags for vehicles.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
