Help us deliver like never before! As our Postie at Mackay facility, you’ll be operating and delivering on our motorcycle as the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting Australians every day.
You’ll work autonomously on the road, interacting with others, and being a team player. This is a permanent, part-time role, working Monday to Friday, 9am - 2pm.
Pay rate for this position is $31.10 per hour for the first three months, increasing to $35.57 per hour once fully trained, plus 12% superannuation and other benefits.
Your responsibilities include:
* Starting your day early in the morning, sorting mail and small parcels with your teammates at the facility
* Completing your daily vehicle safety check
* Loading your vehicle with your deliveries for the day
* Delivering outdoors in all weather conditions to homes and businesses
* Paired with experienced Rider Mentors for professional development
About you
* You hold a full or probationary Queensland motorcycle license, with experience and confidence riding a geared motorcycle
* You will pass our mandatory and practical riding assessment
* You enjoy working outdoors and in your community
* You are flexible to work additional hours if required
* You have a great memory, attention to detail, and can lift up to 16kg of mail and parcels regularly
* You meet our safe working load limit of less than 100kg fully clothed
