Job Summary
The role of Compliance and Risk Lead involves strengthening corporate governance and embedding best-practice compliance across the organisation. This position will lead the implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and Compliance Management Framework, ensuring alignment with legislative obligations, corporate planning, and reporting requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement of compliance and risk outcomes across the organisation.
* Implement the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and Compliance Management Framework to ensure a strong compliance culture.
* Maintain oversight of compliance and risk outcomes across the organisation and report on progress.
* Develop strategies to address non-compliance and high-risk matters to mitigate organisational risk.
* Provide guidance, training, and coaching to managers and staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in governance and compliance.
Requirements:
* Bachelor degree in Commerce, Law, Business, Risk Management, Governance or related field.
* A minimum of five years' experience in governance, compliance, risk, fraud or complaints management is required.
* Minimum of five years leadership experience with a proven track record of success.
* Strong ability to interpret legislation and policies in complex compliance roles.
* Exceptional judgement and decision-making skills, with experience working in politically sensitive environments.
