Responsibilities
* Financial Reporting & Compliance
o Manage timely and accurate delivery of external financial reporting, including interim and full-year financial statements and ASX disclosures
o Draft and review Board and Audit Committee reports
o Develop documentation to support material accounting policy positions
o Oversee financial reporting requirements, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, financial controls and regulatory obligations
* Technical Accounting & Advisory
o Provide technical accounting advice across the business, including support for ad hoc projects
o Lead implementation of new accounting standards and disclosure requirements
o Support Sustainability stakeholders with emerging sustainability reporting standards
* Audit & Governance
o Manage the external audit process and maintain strong relationships with auditors
o Escalate issues appropriately and ensure risks are addressed promptly
* Process Improvement
o Implement new processes and reporting methodologies to drive efficiency and accuracy
o Foster a culture of continuous improvement across all reporting and compliance activities
* Leadership & People Development
o Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing external reporting team
o Build strong cross-functional relationships and act as a trusted advisor across the organisation
Skills & Experience
* CA qualified
* 8+ years post-qualification experience
* Strong technical accounting expertise, ideally gained within a Big 4 environment
* Deep understanding of ASX reporting requirements
* Experience leading reporting in an ASX listed organization preferred
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
* Experienced team leader
