The Role
Chef De Partie
We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at Kost Bar and Grill. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely execution of food offerings in your designated kitchen section.
In this role, you will:
* Oversee day-to-day operations of your assigned kitchen section;
* Assist in effective stock management, including ordering, receipting, storing, and rotation;
* Support the development and training of junior chefs in their relevant sections;
* Contribute to the creation of a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and open communication;
About You
We are looking for a motivated and organized individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional culinary experiences. To succeed in this role, you should have:
* A relevant trade qualification (Commercial Cookery Cert III or equivalent);
* Demonstrated experience in a high-volume kitchen environment;
* An ability to lead and motivate a team;
* A commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation;
* An understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
