About The Role
Our Operations Business Support team provides exceptional support and service to ensure seamless customer service and assistance to our operational staff. This role is office-based at our Operations Depot and Ballarat Botanical Gardens.
About You
We are looking for someone with great people skills, confident in communicating at various levels of customer service, and flexible in an ever-changing environment.
To be suitable for this role, you should be comfortable with all aspects of administration duties, stay organized, manage multiple tasks, and keep things running smoothly. If you enjoy scanning, data entry, minute-taking, and all things administration, this could be a great fit for you
This role is office-based and full-time, but part-time consideration may be given to the right candidate.
We Are Seeking Someone With
* Certificate in Business Administration or experience in an administrative role in an office environment (Local Government)
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
* Ability to work within an ever-changing environment
* Great communication skills and confidence to communicate face-to-face or via telephone
* Demonstrated experience with a wide range of Windows-based databases
* Minute-taking experience

* Qualifications and experience as listed
* Excellent word processing skills and accuracy in data entry, with experience in Windows-based applications, Content Manager, and Pathway
* Customer service skills and well-developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
* Ability to adapt to new situations and respond proactively to challenging and competing work demands
* Experience working in a team environment
* Knowledge of health and safety issues relevant to the role
* A proactive attitude aligned with the Council's code of conduct and values
