The Role:
In this role, you will be part of the Crew Control team that operates on a 24/7 basis with 12 hour day and night shifts on a rotating roster. The team manages network disruption and is responsible for coordinating Cabin Crew and/or Pilot rosters.
The position is based in Brisbane Head Office and you will work closely with the Manager Crew Tracking.
As a Crew Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring all flights are correctly resourced in a compliant manner before take-off, assessing cost versus on time performance and customer benefit within all crew recovery solutions, providing input to process improvement initiatives and raising safety matters through relevant reporting tools.
What You Need To Succeed:
* Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
* A flexible approach and the ability to manage changing priorities, unplanned disruptions, and competing deadlines.
* Demonstrated understanding of airline or similar logistical operations.
* Ability to participate in a rotating 'On-call roster' while demonstrating a high level of service.
* Understanding of Sabre AirCrews.
* Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
* Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders.
* Proficient in MS Office suite of programs.
