Our client is a leading fire protection organization, committed to continuous improvement and long-term client relationships.
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Fire Technician with Fire Alarm experience in Perth and surrounding areas, WA.
The role involves servicing fire alarm systems, testing fire protection systems, and programming fire panels and cabling.
The ideal candidate will be organized, customer-focused, and eager to be part of a dynamic team working on ongoing sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Survey customer premises and recommend fire protection and safety systems in accordance with procedures.
Test, service, and repair fire safety systems and equipment.
Document maintenance activities accurately using handheld technology.
Inspect and maintain fixed fire systems, including fire indicator panels.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Stay updated with industry developments and Australian Standards.
Report progress and performance regularly.
Adhere to ethical standards and company policies, including HSEQ policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience as a Fire Technician with knowledge of Australian Standards for fire protection systems.
Electrical 'A' Grade license; EHAL advantageous.
FPAS accreditation and Cabling license preferred but not mandatory.
Unrestricted work rights and a valid driver's license.
Construction industry white card or ability to obtain one.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Strong prioritization skills and customer service attitude.
