Your new role
We are currently seeking a Level 1 ICT Support Technician to join the team on a contract until the end of Jan 2026. This role involves providing technical support across hardware, software, and network systems, with a strong focus on maintaining service continuity and minimising disruption to teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide Level 1 support to staff and students
* Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues across hardware, software, and networks
* Escalate complex issues while maintaining ownership of service requests
* Maintain and update ticketing systems and documentation
* Align work with service level agreements and ICT policies
* Participate in proactive and project work during school holidays
What you'll need to succeed
Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related field (preferred) ITIL Foundation certification (strongly encouraged)
Prior experience in a support role
Strong customer service and communication skills
Familiarity with Mac systems (80% user base) and Windows (20%)
Excellent time management and attention to detail
Experience in an education environment is a plus.
