As we continue to grow across Western Australia, we're looking for an experienced Sales Director – West, to drive our sales strategy and strengthen our presence in one of the world's most important mining regions.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone who knows the WA mining landscape, builds trusted relationships with ease, and thrives on turning strategy into commercial results.
About the role
Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll be responsible for driving sales performance across Western Australia, with opportunities to support broader APAC growth over time. You'll help shape and execute sales strategy, develop key customer partnerships, and act as the voice of the market internally. This is a critical leadership role across the business and works closely to our Product Development team and contributes to our marketing plans.
What you'll be doing
Develop and execute a WA-focused sales strategy aligned to company growth objectives
Identify and secure new enterprise customers across mining owners and contractors
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with senior mining stakeholders
Lead complex, high-value sales cycles from opportunity through to close
Prepare compelling proposals and business cases with clear ROI
Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance reports, and other relevant analyses to the executive team
Maintain accurate sales activity and forecasting through HubSpot CRM
Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product development
Represent MaxMine at industry events, conferences and customer forums
What you'll bring
Experience & expertise
Significant experience in enterprise sales within the mining industry
Proven success selling high-value (million-dollar plus) solutions
Strong understanding of mine economics and operational decision-making
Experience selling technology solutions into mining (FMS exposure is highly regarded)
Comfortable engaging on-site at mine operations and meeting site requirements
Skills & attributes
Strategic thinker with a strong commercial mindset
Confident communicator who can present to individuals, executive teams and large audiences
Strong proposal writing and negotiation skills
Highly organised with solid CRM and sales reporting capability
Collaborative, adaptable and outcomes-focused
