Liverpool Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Team Leader (Level 3) to lead our Occupational Therapy Cancer Care Team. What You'll Be Doing
The senior occupational therapist provides clinical governance, leadership and expertise within occupational therapy services including the provision of safe, timely, compassionate and high quality person-centered care.
Where You'll Be Working
Liverpool Hospital, founded in 1813, is the major health service for south-western Sydney, offering a wide range of state-wide services including critical care and trauma, neonatal intensive care, and brain injury rehabilitation. As a key teaching facility for UNSW Sydney and Western Sydney University, it provides extensive clinical services, including emergency care, cancer treatment, paediatrics, and mental health services. The hospital features 23 operating theatres and has a capacity for 877 beds.
The ongoing $830 million redevelopment as part of the Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct is transforming the hospital into a global hub for medical innovation. This redevelopment will expand clinical services, enhance research and teaching facilities, and introduce state-of-the-art equipment and amenities.

* Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer and Current Authority to Practice as an Occupational Therapist with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Demonstrated advanced clinical skills and significant experience in the provision of occupational therapy services within Cancer related services such as; haematology, oncology, palliative care, and/or lymphoedema.
* Demonstrated experience in the identification of evidence based practice and/or development of treatment protocols
* Demonstrated experience participating in the planning, implementation and evaluation of local service delivery incorporating the quality improvement process.
* Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills
* Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision, mentoring of staff and/or students
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy in a range of programs
* Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
