Search and Rescue Specialist

Key Responsibilities
* Maintain simultaneous qualifications as an Aircrew Officer & Rescue Crew Officer
* Adhere to all operational policies and procedures
* Conduct secure flight operations adhering to operational manuals and relevant regulations
* Assist the Aircrew Officer/Utility Hoist Operator in the management of the aircraft rear cabin during flying operations
* Conduct thorough flight and safety briefings
* Thorough knowledge of all search and rescue equipment and operating in a secure, reliable manner
* Complete pre-flight and post-flight inspection and documentation
* Render appropriate first aid where necessary and under demanding conditions
In addition to these responsibilities, you will be expected to possess exceptional communication, planning, and organisational skills, along with critical thinking and a working knowledge of all relevant IT systems.
Requirements
* Current CASA Class II medical certification
* Current Provide Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen (HLTAID015)
* Current Provide First Aid (HLTAID011)
* Flight Radiotelephone Operators License (current)
* CASA approved hoist endorsement under CASR PART 133/13
