Cochlear Asia-Pacific, the fastest growing division of Cochlear Ltd, has a direct market presence in Japan, Korea, China, India, SE Asia and Australia & New Zealand. Cochlear conducts most of its leading research, development and manufacturing of cochlear implants in the Asia Pacific region with state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Australia and repair facilities in Malaysia. We are building a new facility in Chengdu to serve China and emerging markets and increase global production.
The Opportunity
As Clinical Educator - Audiology, you'll be a subject matter expert in audiology and hearing implants, delivering high-quality training and expert clinical guidance across the APAC region. Your role will span hands-on support for complex clinical cases, creation of impactful learning materials, and education program delivery for professionals working with implantable hearing technologies.

This is a full-time position, located at our Headquarters in Macquarie Park Sydney. This role offer hybrid work arrangements and frequent travel across APAC.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert clinical and technical support for APAC field teams, partners, and customers
* Develop and deliver engaging training programs (virtual, in-person, and blended)
* Design and review audiological education content, including product training
* Collaborate cross-functionally to support product launches and new education strategies
* Lead regional knowledge-sharing initiatives and represent APAC in global learning forums
* Support the creation, review, and compliance of technical documentation and training materials
* Utilize learning management systems and analytics to drive continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Audiology (or equivalent)
* 3-5 years' experience in the hearing implant field, ideally with Cochlear products
* 2-3 years' experience in adult education, training, or coaching in healthcare
* Confident in operating theatre or cadaver lab environments
* Outstanding presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
* Comfortable with travel (up to 40%) across diverse cultural contexts in APAC
* Familiarity with LMS platforms and curriculum development
Nice to Have (Something else to grab our attention)
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent adult education credential)
* Project management experience
* Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
