Teacher - Primary (Fixed Term)
Location: South Hedland, Pilbara Education Region
Salary: $85,610 – $124,016 per annum (pro-rata, SEA GA ****)
Type: Fixed Term – Full Time
Duration: 12 months, commencing Term 1, **** (possible extension or permanency).
The Role
The successful applicant will possess innovative, enthusiastic teaching practices and have knowledge, skills and experience teaching Years Kindergarten to Year 6.
The role involves:
Delivering high quality, engaging lessons across the Western Australian Curriculum.
Using explicit teaching and instructional strategies to improve literacy and numeracy outcomes for every child.
Planning challenging and engaging programmes and applying resources such as Heggarty, Letters and Sounds and Talk for Writing.
Developing positive relationships with students, parents, staff and the wider community.
Supporting whole-school processes and collaborating effectively with colleagues.
Maintaining professional growth and development.
