An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Field Specialist to join Service Stream in our North Sydney office.
About the Role
Service Stream’s Telecommunications division are currently seeking a Field Specialist to join our ODM (On-Demand Module) team. Reporting directly to the Senior Field Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of design & constructions projects, perform site assessment & surveys and lead a team of subcontractors.

Reporting Line: Senior Field Specialist
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, direct, supervise and coordinate the activities of field staff and sub contractors
- Perform site assessments & survey & compile deliverables required for a detailed design to be built
- Manage a large portfolio of projects and pro actively schedule in survey & construction activities to meet commitment dates.
- Have a thorough understanding of NBN Design standards to ensure an accurate survey is performed
- Review and understand construction designs and build to the correct specifications
- Ensure all field work is of a high quality consistent with relevant HS&E; policies and procedures
- Coordinate and assist in the training of all sub
- contractors including management of sub-contractor compliance
- Liaise with and make all arrangements with Public Authorities for provision of services to the network and working in public areas
About You
- Prior working experience within the external plant network
- Experience leading teams of sub contractors & managing a large portfolio of projects
- Experience in ODM Business installations
- Experience in site assessments
- Civil construction, cable hauling and NBN Fibre Experience
- Pre-Provisioning experience - HFC, FTTN, FTTC, FTTP
- Previous experience managing operational performance & targets
