Purpose
As Sales & Events Manager, you will bring your experience from working in events and or sales in a hotel or hospitality environment to nurture and develop current and new business opportunities. Your responsibilities encompass proactive sales efforts, building brand awareness and fostering partnerships whilst promoting the Wonil brand.
About the Role
Base salary $80k - $85k + 10% STIP + Super

Primary Responsibilities
Forge and nurture positive connections with clients, event planners, and organisers to secure bookings and foster repeat business
Explore new business opportunities across all market segments through thorough market research
Offer revenue and room night data and conduct regular quarterly reviews with key account contacts
Craft customised event proposals and finalize contracts with clients, encompassing terms, pricing, and event specifics
Negotiate terms and conditions for RFPs, groups, and events
Be the face of Wonil, representing the brand at trade shows and networking events, while also conducting site inspections alongside clients
Skills and Experience
Demonstrated prior experience in Conference & Events or Sales Coordination, coupled with a robust proficiency in engaging and negotiating with stakeholders
A deep understanding of the local market combined with innovation and confidence in establishing new relationships
An infectious passion for delivering a memorable guest experience and creating loyalty of guests
Creativity is key for designing unique event experiences and finding innovative solutions to challenges that may arise
Proficient in negotiating with suppliers, vendors, and clients to establish favourable terms that benefit all parties involved
You foster a can – do approach with attention to detail and exceptional time management skills
Flexible availability to accommodate various shifts, including mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
