Property Rating Officer Role

Key Responsibilities
* Managing property records and valuations to maximise revenue.
* Processing rate notices and waste management charges with precision.
* Providing expert advice and data to internal teams and ratepayers.
* Contributing to business improvement and customer service initiatives.
* Assisting in the recovery of outstanding rates and managing concessions.
Requirements
* Knowledge of municipal rates, valuations, titles, and subdivisions.
* Experience using property systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
* Familiarity with relevant legislation, including the Local Government Act and the Privacy Data Protection Act.
