 
        
        We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Hosting Technical Support Specialist. With over 120 team members working across 7 specialist departments, we’re proud to be one of Australia’s leading digital marketing companies. 
You will be an essential point of contact for clients and co-workers, ensuring the smooth operation of hundreds of WordPress websites, domains, DNS, and Google Workspace emails, while also managing deeper hosting and infrastructure responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage WordPress Hosting Operations: WordPress Updates, Plugin Updates, Theme Updates, Backups (Jetbackup) across a portfolio of WordPress websites
- Execute website migrations between servers (staging/production workflows), including DNS, SSL, databases, etc.
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, chat, and email with hosting-related queries
- Help explain technical issues to co-workers and answer their questions
- Troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues
- Diagnose and resolve server configuration issues
- Help customers with WordPress problems, including plugins, themes, and updates
- Assist customers with Domain name issues and DNS
- Ability to follow checklists in detail
- Stay up-to-date on the latest hosting technologies
- Maintain clear documentation, logs, and SOP adherence.
- Communicate daily with the Hosting Team Lead and Operations Manager.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience in technical support or a related field
- Strong ability to work autonomously and adapt to a changing environment and priorities. 
- Strong knowledge of WordPress, plugins, themes, and WHM / cPanel
- Strong knowledge of Google Workspace
- Strong knowledge of Domain Names and DNS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to problem-solve and think critically
- A willingness to learn new things
- Positive, proactive, and able to work under pressure when responding to urgent hosting issues.
- Bonus points if you have used ClickUp previously
Desirable
- Previous experience working with co-managed MSP or hosting provider models.
- Prior experience with managed WordPress hosting or “site care” services.
- Prior helpdesk experience L2+ desired
