Sydney Children's Hospitals Network is the largest paediatric health care entity in Australia. We care for thousands of children each year in our hospitals and in their homes — with one purpose in mind — to help young people live their healthiest lives.


What You'll Be Doing

'NETS', The Newborn & pædiatric Emergency Transport Service is a state-wide service of NSW Health; hosted and administered by the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network on behalf of NSW Health.

It is the only service of its kind in Australia, providing expert clinical advice, clinical co-ordination, emergency treatment and stabilisation and inter-hospital transport for very sick or injured babies and children up to the age of 16 years.

NETS operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Business Manager supports the Service with oversight and monitoring of financial performance, strategic budgetary planning and development of financial initiatives (such as billing and cost recovery).


About You

* Relevant tertiary qualifications in business / accounting / finance and/or previous experience in a financial management role, or a combination of study and work experience.
* Highly developed and proven financial skills including analytical and strategic skills.
* Ability to identify upcoming needs or improvements at the request of the Executive as well as independently and prepare budgets suitable for achieving those goals.
