We're looking for an experienced IT Technical Writer to play a key role in a large-scale digital transformation, with a strong focus on ServiceNow and end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) delivery.
In this role, you'll partner closely with engineering, product, and delivery teams to produce high-quality documentation that underpins the design, build, and rollout of critical enterprise systems. You'll translate complex technical concepts into clear, structured content that supports developers, testers, analysts, and support teams across the full SDLC.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain clear, structured documentation across the full SDLC (requirements, design, build, test, release, and support)
* Produce high-quality artefacts including technical guides, process documentation, API references, and user-facing materials
* Document ServiceNow workflows, modules, integrations, and configuration in line with platform best practices and internal standards
* Work closely with developers, testers, SMEs, and platform owners to ensure accuracy and completeness
* Consolidate and standardise documentation across multiple systems into a cohesive, user-friendly structure
* Drive improvements in documentation frameworks, governance, and repository management
* Ensure documentation reflects system architecture, data flows, and integration patterns within a complex enterprise environment
* Support knowledge transfer and adoption across technical and non-technical stakeholders
About You
* Proven experience as a Technical Writer within enterprise IT environments
* Strong exposure to ServiceNow (documentation of workflows, integrations, or platform configurations)
* Solid understanding of the SDLC and experience working alongside delivery teams in agile or hybrid environments
* Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills and attention to detail
* Experience working on large-scale transformation or system implementation programs is highly desirable
