Tyre Team Goulburn is a locally trusted tyre and mechanical workshop known for honest advice, quality workmanship, and outstanding customer service. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated Assistant Store Manager to help lead our team and keep our workshop running at its best.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service to every customer.


About the Role


As Assistant Store Manager, you'll work closely with the Store Manager to support daily operations, lead by example on the shop floor, and ensure customers receive a smooth, professional experience from start to finish.

You'll be a key point of contact for both staff and customers, helping drive performance, efficiency, and a positive team culture.


Key Responsibilities

* Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily workshop and front-of-house operations
* Lead, motivate, and support the team to achieve high performance and great morale
* Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer enquiries confidently
* Assist with scheduling, workflow management, and job prioritisation
* Help manage stock, ordering, and supplier relationships
* Ensure workplace safety, quality standards, and procedures are followed
* Step up to manage the store in the Store Manager's absence


What We're Looking For

* Previous experience in a supervisory, assistant manager, or leadership role (automotive or retail preferred)
* Mechanical or tyre industry knowledge is an advantage,
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Ability to lead by example and remain calm under pressure
* Organised, reliable, and solution-focused
* A genuine interest in developing people and growing with the business
