Occupational Therapist Job

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team as a Rehabilitation Consultant. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives by providing excellent customer care and helping clients regain their independence and achieve their goals.

This is a full-time position based in NT, working with various clients to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans, design and implement intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and be able to empower clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals. They will also be comfortable liaising with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

* Undertake Occupational Therapy assessments, including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment assessments
* Develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans
* Design and implement intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity
* Identify barriers and design, implement, and monitor programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation
* Liaise with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes


Requirements

* Australian recognised degree qualification in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA accreditation
* Willingness to learn and positively impact people's lives
* Ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey
* Commitment to a high level of customer service
* Current or able to obtain a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
