About the Role
ME Medical Recruitment is seeking an experienced medical leader for the position of Regional Director Medical Services (RDMS). This pivotal role combines clinical practice (0.5 FTE) with strategic and leadership responsibilities (0.5 FTE), ensuring safe connected healthcare across multiple rural and remote communities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support medical service delivery across several regional facilities.
Provide clinical expertise while driving strategic initiatives for improved healthcare outcomes.
Foster collaboration between multidisciplinary teams and regional referral centres.

Total remuneration package up to $ p.a.
Base salary $ –$ p.a. (L18–L27)
5 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading.

Essential Criteria
Relevant tertiary qualification and current registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
Fellowship in General Practice (FACRRM or FRACGP / FRACGP-RG / FARGP).
Advanced skills in one or more areas such as Emergency Medicine, Remote Medicine, Adult Medicine, Internal Medicine, Paediatrics, Mental Health or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health.
C-class driver's licence.
Ability to meet pre-employment screening and vaccination requirements.
