Multiple positions available for Registered Nurses at Cooinda Aged Care Home, Lithgow, NSW

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, competent, and contemporary clinical nursing care to residents within the scope of practice as determined by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Complete ACFI assessments and other clinical documentation required for the shift, contributing to income maximization.
2. Maintain accurate and high-quality documentation reflecting care delivery.
3. Provide leadership, support, and supervision to Enrolled Nurses and Extended Care Assistants, maintaining staff discipline.
4. Maintain confidentiality regarding residents, their families, and other sensitive matters.
5. Provide concise reports via email to the Care Manager and General Manager at the end of each shift.
6. Identify and communicate training and development opportunities to the General Manager.
7. Develop and maintain knowledge of aged care issues, standards, and services.
8. Ensure staff work safely and adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
Essential Requirements
* Current registration with AHPRA.
* Knowledge of the Residential Classification Scale and Aged Care Standards.
* Current National Police Certificate or ability to obtain one.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge
* Understanding of government standards for aged care delivery.
* Knowledge of the Commonwealth Aged Care Funding Instrument.
* Strong clinical and documentation skills.
* Understanding of the aged care accreditation process.
* Leadership skills.
