At our law firm, we are seeking a highly skilled lawyer to join our dispute resolution team.
The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of cases across industry sectors such as property, leasing, franchising, consumer, IP, commercial contracts, aviation and government.
The work includes complex commercial, property and IP disputes, government regulatory work, and advisory transactions, providing a broad skill set for their legal career.
The successful applicant will be typically at the 2–4 years post-qualification experience (PQE) level, eager to contribute to a high-performing team, and prepared to support graduates and more junior lawyers while assisting senior colleagues.
Candidates with previous litigation experience, including meaningful pre-admission legal experience, and the ability to manage file loads under supervision are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct and manage commercial, corporate, and contract litigation in superior federal and state courts.
* Handle franchising and property disputes for franchisors, owners, and local government.
* Manage building and construction commercial disputes and regulatory matters.
* Litigate IP, patent, and general commercial matters in the Federal Court.
* Oversee debt collection and insolvency matters.
* Engage in regulatory and government-related matters.
Essential Qualifications
* 2–4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in relevant practice areas.
* Previous litigation experience; meaningful pre-admission experience is welcome.
* Ability to manage file loads under supervision and contribute to a high-performing team.
* Strong commercial outlook, attention to detail, and ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
