Senior workshop coordinator

The Opportunity: We are currently seeking a leading hand based in our workshop, ensuring that tasks are completed in a safe manner and within set timeframes.

Working closely with the Service Supervisor to set up processes and guidelines for a safe and efficient running of the workshop and providing guidance and direction to both apprentices and tradespersons.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensuring all safety processes are being adhered to by all workshop employees
* Continual improvement of workshop processes & guidelines
* Give guidance & directions to all workshop employees
* Ensuring the quality of work is acceptable & completed within timeframes.
* Monitoring of workshop personnel performance
* Time management of workshop employees
* Provide fill-in capacity for the field leading hands where required.

Roster: Monday to Friday

Role Located: Emerald Branch

What we are looking for:

* Significant trade experience in machine/component diagnoses
* People management/supervisory experience
* Strong time management
* Competent in the writing of reports to a high degree

Qualifications:

* Trade qualified in heavy machinery repairs (Diesel Fitting)

About the Role:

This is an opportunity to take on a key leadership role within our workshop team. As a leading hand, you will be responsible for ensuring that tasks are completed safely and efficiently, while also guiding and directing other team members.

We are looking for someone with significant trade experience in machine/component diagnoses, as well as people management and supervisory experience. You will need to be able to write reports to a high degree and have strong time management skills.
