Oasis is expanding and we are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Office Assistant to join our dynamic and supportive team.
As our Bookings & Events Assistant, you'll be the friendly first point of contact for customers planning events onboard Oasis. You'll help manage enquiries, convert bookings, and ensure every event runs smoothly from first email to final bon voyage.
This role is perfect for someone who is organised, people-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced, fun environment.
About the role:
As Bookings & Events Assistant you will be responsible for:
* Proactively following up enquiries to maximise conversion rates via email and phone.
* Actively managing inbound booking enquiries and converting lead into confirmed sales.
* Managing & Selling VIP Bookings, Reserved Seating, Corporate Events & Celebrations
* Preparing tailored quotes and event proposals to suit customer needs and budgets
* Upselling packages, bar tabs, catering, entertainment and add-ons to increase booking value.
* Curate personalised, unforgettable experiences for guests special events.
* Negotiating event details and securing deposits and final payments.
* Maintaining booking systems and customer records.
* Assisting with on-board event coordination when required.
* Providing exceptional customer service from start to finish.
About You
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Confident communicator (written and verbal)
* Customer-focused with a friendly, professional manner
* Comfortable juggling multiple bookings and deadlines
* Proactive and able to work independently
* Experience in events, hospitality, tourism, or bookings is a bonus
Qualifications
* Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organizational and time management abilities

Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
