Sunnybank Private Hospital is seeking to employ a Clinical Nurse for their Surgical Unit. We are a 45-bed General Surgical ward accommodating various specialties including Bariatric, Urology, ENT, Gynaecology, Orthopaedic, and paediatric patients. Suitable applicants with the appropriate clinical background are encouraged to apply.
As the Clinical Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
1. Delivering quality nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual patient care.
2. Providing a standard of care aligned with the individual's experience and education, maintaining high-quality nursing within a safe environment.
3. Developing and utilizing strategies that promote effective communication.
4. Working in partnership with patients and families in decision-making regarding care provision, fostering beneficial relationships.
Selection Criteria:
* Current registration with AHPRA.
* Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality patient care.
* Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
* Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
