Project Coordinator at Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO)
A project coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of projects within the organization. This role involves coordinating logistics for stakeholder meetings, supporting operational efficiency and maintaining up-to-date tools such as Jira & Confluence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with tracking and updating workload requests, schedules, milestones, and key tasks across multiple workstreams.
* Manage and maintain Jira boards and Confluence spaces to ensure timely updates to monthly/quarterly cycles, actions, issues, and documentation.
* Organise and support internal and external meetings, forums, and workshops including scheduling, logistics, materials preparation, and post-meeting action tracking.
* Define, execute and maintain document version control, risk and issue registers, and documentation in accordance with organisational governance requirements.
* Review new project proposals, monitor the workload pipeline, and report on the status of ongoing delivery workload.
* Document and track risks that can affect project quality, scope, time, and budget in accordance with the project plan and corporate KPIs.
Requirements:
* Strong experience in a project coordination, administrative, or PMO support role ideally within cybersecurity, energy, or a regulated industry.
* Must have procurement and project management financial/budget management scheduling and resource management skills.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in tracking activities across multiple workstreams.
* Experience with enterprise systems for raising POs and processing invoices preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 D365.
* Experience supporting teams using tools such as SharePoint and the Atlassian suite including Jira and Confluence.
This is a fixed term contract position based in various locations throughout Australia applicants must be Australian citizens able to attain and maintain appropriate national security clearance.
