This reputable major bank is highly regarded and is a great opportunity for an experienced commercial or institutional banker or relationship manager with strong experience managing a diversified portfolio to join and nurture an existing portfolio and work alongside a well respected and collaborative team within the commercial/corporate segment.
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for managing existing and key customer groups and businesses and new-to-bank opportunities and supporting bank driven initiatives and providing excellent customer satisfaction and experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Developing, onboarding and originating new-to-bank opportunities
* Managing key existing business customers within the current portfolio
* Adhering to bank compliance and lending regulations as required
* Submitting and preparing credit proposals
* Support the wider team with relevant coaching and mentoring
* Assist in achieving all relevant sales targets and team goals
Skills and Experience required:
* 6+ years' experience within a relationship management or business development role within a similar bank environment within the commercial or institutional segment
* Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills
* Solid financial acumen and credit writing skills
