Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent and organized professional to assist in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our accounting practices.

The role involves processing accounts payable, data entry, systems maintenance, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.

* Process invoices for payment electronically.
* Prepare GST and PAYG tax payments and lodgments accurately.
* Perform monthly bank reconciliations efficiently.
* Maintain supplier records and contact details up-to-date.
* Administer the vehicle fleet, including servicing schedules and insurance records.
* Respond to internal and external inquiries promptly.
* Complete administrative and reporting tasks accurately and efficiently.

The successful candidate will have relevant certificate level qualifications and/or working experience in accounts payable, an understanding of working with confidential documents and established work processes, ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, experience in using Microsoft and database programs, and accountancy software packages, and experience using Reckon accounting software or similar.

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities include:

1. Efficiently process and prepare invoices for payment.
2. Accurately prepare GST and PAYG tax payments and lodgments.
3. Promptly perform monthly bank reconciliations.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier records and contact details.
5. Effectively administer the vehicle fleet, including servicing schedules and insurance records.
6. Timely respond to internal and external inquiries.
7. Accurately complete administrative and reporting tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess:

* Certificate level qualifications in accounts payable or related field.
* Working experience in accounts payable.
* Understanding of working with confidential documents and established work processes.
* Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience in using Microsoft and database programs, and accountancy software packages.
* Experience using Reckon accounting software or similar.
