We're seeking those interested in working as casual and part-time Disability Support Workers in Bathurst
Key Responsibilities in this role may include:
* Work a rotating roster including active nights, early mornings, afternoons and weekends
* Assist participants with personal care including showering, bowel care and catheter management
* Assist participants with their health, feeding and hygiene as required
* Assist participants with daily tasks including meals, activities and capacity building
* Assist participants in working towards achieving their goals and aspirations
* Manual Handling of participants as required, including the use of hoists, lifters and slide sheets
* Work with other Disability Support Workers as part of a team
Are You Our Ideal Candidate?
* Communication: You are a team player that has strong communication skills. Knowledge of AUSLAN is highly regarded.
* Experience: Prior experience as a Disability Support Worker in a high-intensity setting is a plus. Nursing experience or a medical background will be highly regarded.
* Positive Attitude: Above all, a positive attitude is what's needed to assist in making a difference in the lives of our participants.
