The Opportunity
We're on the lookout for a skilled CNC machinist to join our dynamic team.
Our machine shop operations cover a wide range of CNC and conventional machining of industrial components, from single parts to full production runs.
You'll work various materials such as steels, bronze, copper, aluminium, and plastics.
The work is interesting and varies from basic parts to quality-critical components.
What You'll Do
Carry out accurate and efficient machining of components from engineering drawings and samples.
CNC program, both at the machine and using CAD/CAM software applications.
Set up and operate CNC 3-axis milling machines fitted with Fanuc controllers.
Set up and operate Okuma slant bed lathes.
Determine material and equipment requirements and task sequences.
Inspect and verify parts by using precision measuring equipment.
Assist in training of apprentices.
