In this role, you'll:
Drive the strategic integration of Roads, Bridges & Tunnels, and Corridor & Traffic teams to deliver a unified, long-term Asset and Services Plan.
Optimise investments and maintenance across all asset classes, balancing priorities to maximise whole-of-life value and customer outcomes.
Lead governance, risk management, and business planning, ensuring transparent, evidence-based decision-making.
Navigate complex interfaces and partnerships internal, cross-border, and external to deliver seamless operational and legal clarity.
Champion standardised asset data and reporting, turning diverse technical insights into a single source of truth for executives and ministers.
Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture that breaks down silos and drives innovation across the transport network.
This role can be based at one of our major workplaces across NSW (Grafton, Newcastle, Parkes, Wollongong, Wagga, or Milsons Point).

About you
* Extensive experience leading maintenance and optimisation programs across road or transport infrastructure networks.
* Proven track record in managing and delivering a portfolio of strategic programs or projects, balancing competing priorities and stakeholders.
* Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to integrate complex technical data into clear, actionable insights for decision-making.
* Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams and foster collaboration across technical disciplines and organisational boundaries.
* A four-year Engineering degree from an Australian University or an equivalent overseas qualification recognised under the Washington Accord. Alternatively, relevant tertiary qualifications in a related technical discipline combined with significant industry experience
* Holds a valid Australian driver licence, willing to travel and work outside standard hours, and able to meet required security and employment screening checks.
