About The Role Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for planning, promoting and actively selling Palfinger products across VIC/TAS. Your focus will be on building strong relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle.

This is a hands‑on field sales role requiring regular travel, customer visits, and attendance at key industry events.

Key Responsibilities Customer Relationships

Maintain strong phone and face‑to‑face engagement with customers

Attend industry exhibitions and promotional events

Provide accurate and timely product advice

Resolve customer issues, including payments, complaints and warranty matters

Monitor competitive activity and emerging market trends

Business Development

Build and grow relationships across targeted industry sectors

Develop a call plan with clear strategies and objectives

Maintain quotation registers, forecasts and sales reporting

Deliver agreed revenue, GP and market share targets

What You’ll Bring

Demonstrated successful field sales experience in road transport and/or waste industry

Existing relationships with truck dealers

Strong self‑motivation and territory management skills

High‑level communication, negotiation and relationship‑building capability

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Sales Force and Greentree

Current driver’s licence
