Are you a passionate and experienced ECC veterinarian looking for your next team? This is a permanent part‐time role contracted between 40–60 hours per fortnight, with the potential for additional hours for the right candidate.
About The Role
At AES Hawthorn, you'll experience a wide variety of cases and responsibilities from consulting and surgical work to medical and intensive care. You'll collaborate with some of the best ECC professionals in the industry, with a strong culture of mentorship and knowledge‐sharing.
Our focus is on sustainable emergency medicine and true work‐life balance. Flexible rostering, 10‐hour shifts, and a supportive scheduling team ensure you have downtime. As a 24‐hour hospital, shifts are shared fairly across the full day, with an average of four night shifts per month and a balanced mix of days and evenings.

About You
We're looking for a veterinarian who brings both experience and enthusiasm to the team:
* Ideally you have graduated 5 years ago with at least 3 years of ECC experience (preferably from a referral environment, but all applicants considered)
* Solid ECC foundational skills and the ability to manage a wide range of emergency cases
* A Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (or equivalent), recognised in Australia
* Current or eligible registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Victoria
* A collaborative, can‐do attitude with strong communication and client‐management skills
* A genuine passion for emergency and critical care and a commitment to patient‐first medicine
