Who we are looking for
Amana Living volunteers are kind, compassionate and have a passion for creating a community for our residents by sharing their time to encourage smiles, laughs and enrich social interactions. We can usually fit around your schedule.
Note: It is a privilege to volunteer; the role is worthwhile, and you gain much in return—spending time with a person, talking with them, and enriching their life. — Renee, volunteer
How it works
The first step is to apply online at the Amana Living website under Volunteer. You will need to create a profile and fill in an application directly through Amana Living (separate from the expression of interest). We will support you through the process, discuss available roles and locations, your interests and compliance requirements. All volunteers receive site orientation, training when required, ongoing support, and access to current volunteering information. References are available upon request.
At Amana Living, volunteers become part of the team, make a real difference, and enjoy the positive rewards of the Amana Living Community. Volunteers also have opportunities to connect with others at regular social events.
