About the Role
As part of our Community & Partnerships team, you'll play a key role in shaping how Youturn is seen and heard internally and externally. From strategic campaigns and engaging content to stakeholder communications and event coordination, this role offers variety, creativity, and the chance to make a real difference.
Please note that this is a maternity leave role for 12 months.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead brand integrity across digital, print, merchandise, and signage.
* Create compelling content for social media, website, video, and marketing collateral.
* Manage campaigns that build awareness and drive engagement.
* Coordinate events and fundraising initiatives that connect with our community.
* Support internal communications and guide teams on brand alignment.
* Collaborate with external partners and internal stakeholders to deliver impactful messaging.
Skills & Experience
* Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Design or related field (or equivalent experience).
* Proven experience in marketing, communications, or public relations—ideally in the not-for-profit or community services sector.
* Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
* Proficiency in WordPress, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office.
* Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
* Experience in event coordination and fundraising.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
* A collaborative mindset and leadership experience.
Other Requirements
* Successful applicants will also need to hold a 'C' class Open driver licence, State Working with Children Check and hold, or be eligible to apply for, a Licensed Care Suitability Check issued by the QLD Department of Child Safety, Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs.
