The Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Asset Manager to not only manage a diverse portfolio of commercial properties but also take on a leadership role within our client’s team. This exciting opportunity is based in the inner-city fringe, where you'll be responsible for enhancing asset value, ensuring tenant satisfaction, overseeing operational efficiency, and guiding a dedicated team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team, ensuring high performance and qualified growth
- Foster a collaborative and motivated work environment
- Property Operations
- Oversee daily operations and ensure the optimal performance of commercial assets
- Coordinate scheduled works and emergency responses
- Conduct regular inspections and liaise with tenants, contractors, and property owners
- Lease and Tenant Management
- Administer leases, ensuring compliance and safeguarding client interests
- Manage lease negotiations and variations
- Collaborate with the leasing team to market and lease vacant properties
- Financial Management
- Optimise cash flow with efficient billing and collections
- Oversee budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure
- Control operational costs and outgoings
About You
- At least 3-5 years of experience in commercial asset management or real estate
- Strong expertise in financial management, leasing, and property operations
- Experience in leading and managing a team
- Proficiency in property management software (Re-leased / Cirrus 8 or similar) and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
- Adaptable and forward-thinking with a passion for innovation
Required Qualifications
- Current Queensland Real Estate registration
- Valid Driver’s License
