About Cutcher & Neale

In July 2025, BBB Partners merged with Cutcher & Neale, bringing together a locally recognised Melbourne firm with one of Australia's leading financial services businesses. While this role is based in the BBB Partners Melbourne office, you'll enjoy the professional growth opportunities of being part of a national firm with more offices in Sydney, Brisbane, and Newcastle.

At Cutcher & Neale and BBB Partners we are True Professionals who believe in being Stronger Together by empowering our people to be their best and do their best work. We do this by providing a supportive team environment, ongoing professional and personal development opportunities, and a genuine balance between work and life commitments.

Your new opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join our Financial Planning & Wealth Management team. Working closely with a team of experienced advisors, you'll play a critical role in preparing advice documentation, managing investment administration, and supporting the delivery of a seamless, high-quality client experience.

This is a great opportunity to bring your existing paraplanning experience into a firm known for its professional standards, strong team culture, and dedication to growth for both our clients and our people.

What you'll do

* Draft Statements of Advice, Records of Advice, Portfolio Reviews, Cashflow Projections and Investment Strategies
* Manage onboarding tasks for new clients, including preparation of documentation and liaising with external providers
* Prepare performance calculations and support technical analysis
* Liaise with banks, platform providers, and fund managers as required
* Handle client administration tasks such as off-market transfers, cash movements, and investment paperwork
* Support advisors by managing queries and delivering timely responses
* Prepare reporting and manage internal data for review meetings
* Assist with internal communications, seminar content, and Investment Committee support
* Contribute to internal improvement initiatives and attend training to build your expertise

What you'll bring

* Minimum 2 years' experience in a paraplanning or similar financial services role
* Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Finance (or currently completing)
* RG146 Compliance or Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning (or currently completing)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task across priorities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with exposure to portfolio software platforms
* A collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Desire to continually learn and improve in a dynamic, growing firm
* Strong interest in investment markets and eagerness to develop knowledge further
* Experience using Xplan software (desirable but not essential)
