As a developing Geographical Information Specialist you will:

* Use cutting-edge software to create smart maps and analyse location data.
* Build and maintain an interactive mapping tool that empowers users to plan better communities, manage infrastructure efficiently, protect the environment, and support emergency services with precision and insight.
* Turn complex data into clear, visual maps and reports that guide real decisions.

It is designed to support the transition from academic study to professional practice, with opportunities to contribute meaningfully to Council's spatial data initiatives. You will be working towards developing the knowledge and experience required for this position.
