Location Gatton SE Qld from 25 August to 30 October 2026.
Duties involve looking after 30 Miniature Hereford cows and calves a couple of bulls, no one due to calve while we are away. Must be able to identify 3 day/pink eye and administer drugs as needed. We have a mobile vet for all other medical issues.
Need to be able to drive tractor and feed out round bales if needed. Also looking after two friendly house dogs who are not working dogs.
Extensive fruit tree orchard may need watering and room to grow veges if you are interested. A ride on mower for around the house.
Room to park caravan/bus if needed and room to stay in the house for duration of your stay, private room and bathroom, unlimited wifi, ac if you need it.
There is no off-farm vehicle supplied with the position and no public transport in Gatton, so you need your own vehicle.
