About The Role
Formed in 1882, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare. Are you passionate about supporting cutting-edge haematology research? The Haematology Clinical Trials Unit (HCTU) at RPAH is seeking a motivated and detail oriented Clinical Trials Coordinator to play a key role in delivering world class clinical trials that make a real difference to patients' lives.
In this important role, you will apply your organisational skills and commitment to patient centred care to ensure the smooth start-up and coordination of clinical trials. Working closely with a dedicated team of clinicians, nurses, study coordinators and researchers, you'll be involved in maintaining study documentation, supporting ethics and governance submissions, liaising with sponsors, supporting department teams and assisting with trial activities.

Ideal Candidate
* Relevant qualifications and/or experience in research, clinical trials, or relevant clinical or other health experience.
* Knowledge and experience in clinical research including secure data management, participant trial data collection, skills in coordinating trial participants, ability to rapidly master new concepts and skills, detailed knowledge of HREC and RGO submissions.
* Good working knowledge and understanding of medico-legal, privacy and ethical requirements for research as per the ICH-GCP.
* Ability to work both independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
