Roads Infrastructure Coordinator - Noosa Council (Permanent Full Time)

Noosa Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Roads Infrastructure Coordinator to lead the delivery of road maintenance, renewal and construction programs across our stunning shire.
This is a pivotal leadership role where your work will have visible, lasting impact on the community, from reseal programs to reconstruction projects and disaster response.

The role – make a real impact
You will lead operational teams and coordinate major civil programs, ensuring infrastructure is delivered safely, efficiently and sustainably.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and supporting a diverse civil operations team
* Delivering annual and 5‐year road reseal, resurfacing and reconstruction programs
* Coordinating grant‐funded projects (e.g., Roads to Recovery, TIDS, LRCI)
* Managing contractors, tenders and project delivery
* Preparing budgets, reports and long‐term renewal plans
* Providing expert advice to stakeholders and elected members
* Supporting disaster management response when required
About you
You are a confident civil infrastructure professional with strong leadership capability and a track record of delivering results.
You will bring:
* Experience leading multidisciplinary civil teams
* Strong technical knowledge of roads, drainage and public infrastructure
* Asset management expertise (ISO 55000 / IPWEA NAMS desirable)
* Experience managing programs, budgets and contracts
* Excellent communication and stakeholder skills
* Ability to deliver outcomes on time and within budget

Permanent full‐time role – LGOA Level 8.1
Base salary: $133,108
Total remuneration package: $151,087 (includes 12% super + 17.5% leave loading)
