available to join our Student Support team at TAFE Queensland's
Toowoomba
Campus.
As The Access And Equity Officer, You Will
* Facilitate and coordinate student support services, including support for students with a learning difficulty and/or disability, to ensure access to vocational education and training.
* Provide essential operational and administrative support to ensure the effective delivery of student support services.
This position reports to the Student Support and Wellbeing Manager.
Salary
The salary range for this position at the AO4 classification is
$89,141 - $97, gross) per annum
.

Mandatory Requirements
Applicants must possess the following:
* Current Queensland Driver's licence as travel is required across the region.
* Current Blue Card or Exemption Card to comply with the Working with Children (Risk Management Screening) Act 2000.

Candidates Who Possess The Following Will Be Highly Regarded
* Experience working with diverse student populations.
* Experience in the submission of funding applications, claims for reimbursement and reporting.
* Proven ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently, ensuring all duties are completed accurately and on time, while also maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of student information.
* Training in/understanding of inclusive education and reasonable adjustments in an education setting
How You Will Be Assessed
The ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key capabilities:
* Demonstrated experience in the delivery of student support services through the effective identification of risks, researching and analysing issues to determine solutions.
* Demonstrated ability to meet business objectives and maintain current knowledge of student support practices, systems and processes.
* Demonstrated experience in building and sustaining productive internal and external key stakeholder relationships, and working collaboratively to foster a positive and cohesive work environment.
* Ability to work as part of a team while remaining flexible and adaptable to organise and prioritise own workload and apply well developed organisational skills to tasks or projects.
* High level of communication and client service skills to work collaboratively with stakeholders and colleagues to achieve outstanding client service.
