Description Senior Contract Administrator– Logan Water Location: Beenleigh (with travel to Logan City Council sites as required) Division: Energy & Utilities – Water / Logan Water Partnership The opportunity Downer’s Logan Water Partnership delivers essential water and wastewater infrastructure for one of South-East Queensland’s fastest-growing regions. We are seeking a Senior Contract Administrator to provide leadership and expertise in contract management, procurement, and commercial governance. Reporting to the Commercial Manager – Logan Water Partnership, this role is pivotal to ensuring our projects are delivered in line with contractual obligations, project budgets, and governance frameworks. You’ll play a key part in protecting Downer’s commercial entitlements, managing subcontractors, resolving claims, and guiding the broader project team in contract administration best practice. What you’ll do Provide contract management leadership across the full lifecycle of Logan Water projects. Manage subcontract tendering, negotiation, administration, and close-out. Support project teams with contractual advice, dispute resolution, Variation & EOT assessment, and change management, Drive compliance with Downer’s Delivery Management Methodology and governance processes. What we’re looking for Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Law, Business, Finance, or Engineering. 3–5 years’ experience in Sr. contract administration role with a Tier 1 contractor (ideally in utilities or infrastructure). Strong understanding of contract law, and risk management processes. Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and commercial focus.
